Inter-County Masquerade of Retired People and Citizens

During the February’s festival days, the association “Treća dob” traditionally organizes, with the support of the City and the Tourist Board, the Inter-County Masquerade of Retired People and Citizens attended by some 15 masked members of associations and groups from Croatia.

The procession of masked groups walks the city streets, the masks are presented and the best group masks are selected in the Ivanićanka restaurant, after which a party takes place for all the visitors. On the very day of the Masquerade, masked groups of kindergarten and school children walk the city streets. Numerous other related events are held in the city on this day. Traditional exhibition of caricatures in the Open University, masquerade concerts, dances.
