Cycling trails
The area of Ivanić-Grad and Kloštar Ivanić has 2 marked cycling trails with 30 road signs, 14 wooden signs in the forests of Žutica and Marča and around 10 cycling maps/panels of the Sava and Moslavina route.
Sava/blue route:
– mountain bike – route length: 41.3 km, road, macadam, dirt road – for recreational athletes
Moslavina/yellow route:
– road or mountain bike – route length: 37.7 km, road – for recreational and higher level recreational athletes
Moslavina/orange route:
– mountain bike – route length: 25 km – road, macadam – for recreational athletes, families (less demanding route)

Petek Excursion Site

Kezele Family Farm
The 5 000 m 2 of sports-based area includes futsal, basketball, badminton, volleyball and dodgeball courts, tetherball bowling and table tennis. You can go riding, enjoy a carriage ride, rent a bike or simply go for a walk to the nearby forest. The more adventurous ones can go back in time and enjoy some of the older team building activities such as tug of war, jumping in bags, carrying an egg on a spoon, tjeranje šine, flying on brooms, cooking in teams to prepare stews or pork chops (kotlovina) etc. Children can have fun on the jungle gym and obstacle course, or see the animals and horses in the barns.

There are 16 sport clubs in Ivanić-Grad and the city has cherished a long tradition and achieved noticeable results in football, handball, cycling, bowling, basketball, shooting, kick-boxing and karate. If you find yourself in Ivanić-Grad and you love sports, feel free to visit our sports courts, the Žeravinec sports hall and Zelenjak sports park, and enjoy the football, handball and tennis courts as well as the automatic four-lane bowling alley. Ivan Švear Secondary School's hall and a shooting range in Topolj are also located nearby.

Marča forest educational trail
The Marča forest educational trail is situated nearby the Kezele family farm in Šumećani, within the Ivanić-Grad area and the neighbouring town of Čazma. The trail is 2.5 km long and it takes a 40- minute pleasant walk to cross it. It is suitable for hikers, parents with children and recreational athletes. Educational panels have been set up along the trail providing information on the trees, animals, insects, birds and mushrooms of the Marča forest, Lake Sudarica, Pannonian sand, badgers’ home and beavers’ shelter.
Žutica forest educational trail
Forest Žutica is abundant in oil and gas sites. It holds numerous oil drills (kačaljke), but it is also home to animals such as the white-tailed eagle, beaver, umbra (a type of fish), fritillaria (a protected flower species), different types of mushrooms, deer, boars, stags, and horses and cows grazing the pastures alongside the forest. The road will take you through the entire area of the Žutica forest ecological network and the panels set up along the educational trail will give you information on its flora and fauna.
Tourist trails
If you love wine, explore the wine trails by bike, car or on foot. You can try quality wines of our region, home-made traditional cold cuts and rolls. Prior announcement is needed. Follow the tourist map of wine, hiking and cycling trails of the Brenta Winemakers and Winegrowers Association.
